Course contents

The goal of mechanical and industrial engineering doctoral course is to deepen and integrate specific and diversified skills, each of high value in the specific technical and scientific sector, in order to create a knowledge that makes the future PhD capable of dealing with complex problems, characterized by a strong multidisciplinary. These skills are oriented to the development of methodologies that integrate Thermo-mechanical problems, fluid, electromechanical, construction materials and technological, economic, and management in supply chain planning, development, design, construction, operation and end-of-life engineering structures with reference to sustainability, noise pollution, labor safety and human health.

Opportunities for integration into the labour market are considerably increased compared to the graduation, also thanks to the multidisciplinary nature of the course offering many research projects classified as founded in applied research and industrial research in many cases carried out in collaboration with companies or other research institutions.
Higher education guaranteed by the available courses can be rapidly fruiting thanks to participation in seminars, conferences and thematic workshops (sponsored or co-sponsored by the course) for a presentation on the progress of activities, offering graduate students opportunities to pursue higher education who are maturing, even during the three-year period and before obtaining the title.
