Il Master si propone di formare ingegneri con specifiche competenze sui processi metallurgici di produzione e trattamento dei materiali metallici, sulle tecniche di caratterizzazione degli stessi e sui criteri di scelta per il loro impiego ottimale. Il Master intende integrare l’offerta formativa nel campo dell’Ingegneria Industriale, come da precisa richiesta espressa dal mondo imprenditoriale operante nell’ambito dell’Industria metallurgica e più in generale di quella meccanica.

Nel caso in cui il numero delle domande superi il numero dei posti disponibili, è prevista una selezione per titoli curata da apposita Commissione composta dai componenti del Consiglio di Master, in cui verranno tenuti in considerazione i seguenti criteri di merito: a) il voto più alto di laurea (fino a un massimo di 10 punti); b) curriculum vitae a cui verrà attribuito un punteggio da 0 a 10; c) eventuali titoli culturali e scientifici, cui verrà attribuito un punteggio da 0 a 10. In caso di parità nella graduatoria di merito verrà valutata la minore età anagrafica del candidato.
