Course contents

Sustainability, climate change, energy and energy efficiency, green consumption and urban sustainable development are globally recognized challenges for the 21st century. Tackling these
challenges requires a strong commitment from companies and private sectors, governments, agencies and NGOs. The managers and professionals of tomorrow will require knowledge to
understand the interconnectedness of economic, juridical, environmental and social dimensions, as well as competencies to manage and contribute the change towards a more sustainable
world. The UNIBA Master in Green Management and sustainable development is a unique opportunity for students, (and also pubblic and private officials) interested in building a
professional career in a multi-disciplinary topic characterized by growing momentum and increasing interest of economic actors and international organizations.
The program is designed to equip students with skills and competencies required in order to responsibly face these new challenges. Energy, renewable resources and energy efficiency,
climate change and carbon management, corporate sustainability strategies and sustainable business models, corporate social responsibility, green education, bioethical approach,
environmental and urban planning are some of the subjects that are confronted throughout the Master.
It is 12-month full-time program that proposes a multi-disciplinary educational approach to train next-generation managers and professionals interested in leading the change towards a
sustainable future.
This Master has been designed with the goal of attracting talented students and young professionals with diverse backgrounds, who share passion, commitment and values and want
to balance their professional carrier with their personal ambitions and values.
The Master aims to:
a) complete the cultural education in the field of ethical problems raised by the development of the biomedical sciences, with particular relevance to aspects of learning and teaching
methodologies related to education in bioethics in the context of school and social health structures and ethics committees operating in
the area;
b) educate HCWs about the allocation and management of resources in the health system and production;
c) promote the communication of the values of health, environment, quality of life in the sociocultural;
d) to study issues of discomfort in the perspective of the aid to the person and manage the discomfort in personal and social life;
e) turn on attitudes to philosophical counseling and bioethics;
f) develop interrelationships between the sphere of bioethics and biolegal in its foundational aspects and applications;
g) to form the new professional counselor bioethical and philosophical.
