Course contents

The Postgraduate Course in Aortic Surgery aims to provide participants an updated and adequate theoretical and practical preparation in the main of aortic surgery with both open and endovascular techniques, enabling them to establish correct treatment and indications following recent progress of techniques. Participants will be involved in both the diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation phase. Attendance and daily practice will be verified both in the ward and in the non-invasive diagnostic laboratory and in the operating room and finally is required the preparation of an experimental thesis.
The course is suitable to graduates in medicine and surgery and particularly to doctors that already completed the residency program in Vascular Surgeryis.
