Course contents

Il corso fornisce ai partecipanti strumenti e competenze necessarie ad analizzare la dimensione europea dei problemi sociali, a comprendere il funzionamento delle istituzioni e organizzazioni europee e a riflettere sugli aspetti culturali e sui fattori che giocano un ruolo rilevante nel processo d’integrazione europea. Vengono trattati temi quali gli sviluppi storici e sociali, i processi politici, i valori, la cittadinanza e l’identità culturale.
Il Master è un corso interdisciplinare che punta alla formazione degli studenti in professioni e in attività nelle quali la conoscenza della realtà sociale, politica e culturale dell’Europa acquista una specifica rilevanza, ponendoli in condizione di essere competitivi in un contesto che assume sempre più dimensioni sovranazionali. In particolare coloro che ottengono il titolo di Master possono assumere ruoli professionali nell’ambito delle istituzioni europee e delle organizzazioni pubbliche, private e non governative, dei media e del giornalismo, delle istituzioni educative e di ricerca, del management culturale, della consulenza in materia europea.

Il Master è offerto congiuntamente da un Consorzio di 12 università europee ed extra-europee: Deusto (Bilbao, Spagna), Groningen (Paesi Bassi), Göttingen (Germania), Cracovia (Polonia), Olomouc (Repubblica Ceca), Strasburgo (Francia), Udine (Italia), Uppsala (Svezia), Indiana (Stati Uniti d’America), UNAM (Messico), Osaka (Giappone) e Pune (India) come Erasmus Mundus Master of Arts “Euroculture”. Il corso si sviluppa in un programma didattico comune a tutte le sedi ed è articolato in una struttura che prevede la frequenza delle attività didattiche in almeno due Università del Consorzio.

Gli studenti devono dimostrare un’adeguata conoscenza della lingua inglese tramite una delle seguenti certificazioni: - TOEFL paper-based: 580 o TOEFL internet-based: 92; - IELTS: punteggio complessivo minimo 6.5, con nessun voto parziale (listening, reading, writing, speaking) inferiore a 6.0; - CAE (Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English): C1 o CPE (Cambridge Proficiency in English): C2

L'ammissione avviene sulla base di criteri comuni stabiliti dal Consorzio Euroculture e inseriti in un formulario d'iscrizione on line, reperibile sul sito web www.euroculturemaster.eu. I criteri sono: l'eccellenza accademica dell'Università di provenienza, la rilevanza del percorso di studi pregresso e la sua coerenza con il Master, la relativa votazione finale, la motivazione nella scelta del Master, la conoscenza certificata della lingua inglese, le esperienze di studio e di lavoro all'estero, l'attitudine allo studio e al lavoro di gruppo in un contesto interdisciplinare ed internazionale.

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
