Course contents

The advanced course in Luxury Packaging Design & Sustainability is designed to provide specific skills to designers who, at various levels, are interested in the design and production of packaging for the luxury and high creative industry sectors, with particular attention to the aspects of sustainability (central to the current production scenario) and to the formal, structural and material components. This design area concerns the packaging for the cosmetics and perfumery, fashion, accessories, jewelery, high-end craftsmanship, furniture and other Made in Italy sectors with high added value. In order to exhaustively approach the design of Luxury Packaging, the course will cover topics such as: the characteristics of use, the emotional aspects, the specificities of changes in consumption and of the various types of distribution, marketing and logistics requirements, the sustainability of materials and of solutions, technological and production innovation, while considering the various players in production, distribution and use of packaging.

Possono far richiesta di ammissione al corso:
- i laureati in possesso della laurea di primo livello e secondo livello o del vecchio ordinamento o di laurea straniera equipollente preferibilmente in Design, Ingegneria, Architettura, Comunicazione; - i professionisti (diplomati non laureati) che abbiano maturato esperienze professionali riconosciute e ritenute congrue agli scopi del corso, sulla base del Curriculum Vitae trasmesso in sede di presentazione della domanda di ammissione;
- i laureati in altre discipline con affinità ai temi proposti che risultino idonei alla partecipazione al corso.

Il corso intende formare una figura specializzata nel design di confezioni e packaging destinati ai settori del lusso e dell’alta industria creativa, capace di intervenire nei processi di innovazione connessi alle variazioni dei modi di consumo e produzione e alle sfide poste dalle nuove strategie industriali. Il professionista che si formerà nel corso approfondirà la conoscenza sia sugli aspetti connessi all’innovazione del packaging sia sugli aspetti emozionali, sensoriali, sociali e ambientali connessi all’uso e produzione degli imballaggi.
Le specifiche competenze acquisite sono d’interesse crescente:
- per gli studi e le agenzie di design;
- per gli uffici tecnici delle aziende produttrici di packaging in differenti materiali;
- per gli uffici tecnici e marketing delle aziende con prodotti ad alto valore aggiunto come, a titolo di esempio, nella cosmesi, profumeria, gioielleria, moda, alto artigianato.

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
