Course contents

The course aims to accompany participants on a path of in-depth exploration and reflection on the possibilities of envisioning, designing, and creating inclusive anthropic contexts oriented towards the protection of the rights of girls, boys, and adolescents.
The Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescents represents the tool and the key to understanding the contexts in which children and young people are growing up in our cities today, not only through observation but also through listening and promoting their participation.
Furthermore, the course intends to promote a renewal in the perspective with which the young generations of professionals can and will look at the rights of children and adolescents.
The course sets the following objectives:
Promote education and training in human rights as provided for in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescents (November 20, 1989) and the Declaration of the United Nations General Assembly of December 19, 2011.
Promote the implementation of study, research, and training activities within the scope of the "Child Friendly Cities" and "Child Friendly Schools" programs.
Connect and raise awareness among the academic and professional world on one side, and the youth and student community on the other, about the protection of the rights of girls, boys, and adolescents as the core of choices for the organization, design, and management of public and private spaces.
Mainly provide comprehensive knowledge of the new frameworks and tools in which professionals and sector operators will operate.
