Course contents

Il Master è strutturato in 1500 ore di cui:
- n. 392 ore di didattica frontale;
- n. 150 ore di stage;
- n. 833 di studio ed altre attività;
- n. 125 ore previste per la prova finale (cui corrisponde l'acquisizione di un numero di crediti pari a 5);
- e le rimanenti ore in attività di studio individuale.

Il profilo professionale che il Master intende formare è quella dell’AI Specialist.
AI Specialist conosce le principali tecnologie e piattaforme di AI e sa come implementarle. Può costruire servizi come chatbot, effettuare il riconoscimento di immagini e/o l’elaborazione del linguaggio naturale. L’ambito dell’intelligenza artificiale include tecnologie come il data mining, il machine learning, il deep learning ed il reinforcement learning. Le aziende dispongono di una mole di dati e devono prendere decisioni sulla base di quei dati. Gli AI Specialist aiutano i clienti a prendere decisioni migliori con i loro dati. Il contributo chiave di un AI Specialist consiste nell’applicare queste nuove tecniche e tecnologie ai problemi aziendali e nel risolverli in modi nuovi e creativi che forniscono maggiore comprensione, precisione e coerenza. Un AI Specialist dedica la maggior parte della sua giornata a comprendere i dati, e ad assicurarsi che la soluzione risponda alle esigenze del business. È essenziale anche una profonda comprensione della matematica relativa. Le tecnologie e i linguaggi possono sempre essere appresi, ma le competenze intellettuali sono fondamentali e caratterizzano un vero esperto. Gli AI Specialist lavorano per progettare ed implementare sistemi che raccolgono informazioni, prendono decisioni e agiscono in base alle informazioni. Tra gli skills che un AI specialist deve possedere, ricordiamo la programmazione, i fondamenti teorici di algebra lineare, probabilità e statistica, la conoscenza dei big data e delle tecnologie a supporto della loro gestione, la conoscenza degli algoritmi e dei frameworks disponibili, senza dimenticare alcune soft skills quali ad esempio la capacità di comunicare e di lavorare in team.
