Course contents

Il master in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS) intende offrire un percorso formativo articolato in due curricula, il primo finalizzato a creare la figura di esperto in tecniche di Artificial Intelligence, il secondo finalizzato a creare la figura del Data Scientist, entrambi con marcate expertise di computer science, statistica e machine learning. Tali figure risultano altamente specializzate e con competenze multidisciplinari, in grado di acquisire, gestire, analizzare e interpretare dati di qualunque natura e provenienti da fonti non sempre convenzionali, e trasformarli in conoscenza a supporto dei processi decisionali e delle strategie operative di enti, istituzioni e aziende. Il master fornisce le adeguate competenze per fronteggiare l’avvincente sfida che l’era dell’intelligenza artificiale e della trasformazione digitale ha lanciato: “monetizzare” i dati, con avanzati strumenti statistico-informatici per prevedere, valutare e creare business e innovazione.
Il Master ha un’impostazione molto operativa offrendo attività didattiche teorico-pratiche seguendo un approccio learning by doing. I contesti applicativi proposti da docenti ed esperti sono multidisciplinari, per delineare anche un ruolo trasversale della figura professionale creata che potrà lavorare in team, ed affiancare efficacemente sia esperti di specifici settori applicativi sia manager e decision-maker.
La figura professionale formata risponde alle richieste del mercato del lavoro in ogni contesto applicativo in cui informazioni contenute nei dati possono supportare e orientare scelte operative e strategiche per la ricerca o il business.
Il professionista è quindi coinvolto in tutti i settori in cui è necessario individuare soluzioni statisticoinformatiche da adottare come supporto ai processi decisionali a diversi livelli: operativo, tattico, strategico. La figura professionale ha una spiccata capacità di interazione con esperti di vari ambiti applicativi riuscendo a comprenderne i fabbisogni conoscitivi ed a sviluppare soluzioni volte all’interpretazione dei dati disponibili e/o all’estrazione di nuova conoscenza da essi.
La figura professionale è caratterizzata da un’elevata padronanza nell’uso degli strumenti statisticoinformatici per gestire in modo efficiente le fonti e gli strumenti di archiviazione delle informazioni e per il trattamento delle stesse. In particolare, tramite i due profili progettati, il professionista formato può affiancare sia manager e policy-maker all’interno di processi decisionali mediante i più avanzati modelli statistici per fini esplicativi e previsivi, sia i team di sviluppo aziendali nella produzione di modelli informatici innovativi per l’interpretazione dei dati anche complessi, quali il riconoscimento di immagini, documenti testuali e video.
Le figure professionali in AI&DS formate dal Master sono tra le più richieste dal mercato del lavoro. Grazie alla formazione specialistica e trasversale, alle avanzate competenze statistico-informatiche, all’attitudine al problem solving, il corsista che consegue il titolo di Master in AI&DS si può inserire facilmente e in tempi brevi in team multidisciplinari in ogni settore tecnico, scientifico e produttivo che sia strategicamente orientato al data-driven business anche tramite tecniche non convenzionali basate su intelligenza artificiale.
Le figure professionali formate sono fortemente richieste in aziende pubbliche e private; enti e centri di ricerca; società di consulenza aziendale e società di informatica che operano nei più svariati settori:
-governo e pubblica amministrazione; banca e assicurazioni; mobilità, trasporti e turismo;
-telecomunicazioni e information technology; ambiente e sanità; comunicazione e ricerche di mercato

Rights of data subjects:

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
  • Pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the control authority of the EU Member State in which you usually reside, work or the place where the alleged violation occurred;
