Course contents

The Level I Master’s in “Digital Solutions Manager” aims to provide students and professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within the realms of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. These are recognized as technological pillars enabling digital transformation processes in the era of green transition. The Master’s program is designed as a cutting-edge educational path to train professionals capable of navigating and influencing the adoption of digital technologies, promoting the principles, methodologies, and approaches acquired throughout the program.

The course will place significant emphasis on studying theories and methodologies from both a general perspective and a more specific, industry-oriented perspective, particularly in industrial and production fields. In addition to basic programming concepts, there will be a focus on the stages of process digitalization and management of business information. The “Digital Solutions Manager” Master’s program at the University of Camerino aims to serve as an enabler for innovation processes in business contexts, combining the university's strong academic heritage with a study program strongly oriented towards innovation and the needs of an ever-evolving world. The Master’s program aims to train cutting-edge, specialized professional profiles capable of guiding companies in selecting and implementing technological solutions to optimize industrial and production processes in a constantly evolving market. This requires professionals who can master key technological aspects related to IoT to leverage data generated by connected devices, use Artificial Intelligence to automate processes and enhance efficiency through predictive insights, and apply new approaches for secure, decentralized, and transparent transactions based on Blockchain technology. Additional knowledge will include introduction to current topics in business software management and design such as data analytics, and the use of agile methodologies in project management. Simultaneously, they will be equipped with the tools needed to collaborate with development teams, understand their needs, and provide technical support from a team-working and team-building perspective.
