Candidates are required to have certified English proficiency at least B2 level - under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) - at the time of enrolment, except for the possibility of acquiring it subsequently, but no later than 31st December 2024, otherwise they will be excluded from the PhD programme

- Laurea specialistica (second cycle/Master’s degree) in 22/S Law or 102/S Theory and techniques of legal texts, or Laurea magistrale (second cycle/Master’s degree) in LMG/01 Law or degree obtained under the Italian university system in force prior to the Ministerial Decree no. 509/1999, harmonised under the Ministerial Decree dated 9 July 2009;
- Laurea specialistica (second cycle/Master’s degree) in 64/S Economic sciences or 84/S Managements studies, or Laurea magistrale (second cycle/Master’s degree) in LM-56 Economics or LM-77 Business and economic sciences or degree obtained under the Italian university system in force prior to the Ministerial Decree no. 509/1999, harmonised under the Ministerial Decree dated 9 July 2009. Candidates may be admitted to the competition provided they have acquired, during their entire university studies, at least 48 ECTS in the disciplinary sectors of Area 12 - Legal Sciences, of which at least 5 ECTS in the disciplinary sectors IUS/01 - Private law and 5 ECTS IUS/S08 - Constitutional law or IUS/09 – Public law institutions;

- or Master’s degree qualification obtained abroad, comparable in terms of discipline field to the Italian qualification granting admission to the PhD Programme.
The possession of the requirement relating to specific disciplinary sectors will be verified by the Admissions Committee at the preliminary meeting.

The admissions qualification must be obtained no more than 5 years before the date of the issue of the call

  • The data provided are processed exclusively to supply the user with the assistance service requested;
  • The provision of data marked with * is required for the assistance service requested by the user, which is why the failure to provide such data prevents the provision of the above service offered by the AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium;
  • The data provided, pursuant to art. 6, 1st paragraph, lett. b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, are processed only as strictly necessary for the fulfilment of this service and are stored for the time strictly necessary for the provision of the assistance, in any case for a period not exceeding 12 months after the fulfilment of the request.

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data:

  • For the provision of the service specified above, the data you provided may be transmitted to other parties (e.g. CINECA) appointed to provide technological support, as data processors. The list of data processors of the data for which the AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium is data controller is published at www.almalaurea.it/info/condizioni/privacy.

Rights of data subjects:

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
  • Pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the control authority of the EU Member State in which you usually reside, work or the place where the alleged violation occurred;
