Course contents

The activities of the Doctoral Program in Law and Innovation will hinge on three main lines of research: Law and Technological Innovation, to analyze the relationships between law and the uses of new technologies, with particular reference to the development of the digital dimension and robotic applications; Law and Social Innovation, to study the dynamics of legal change related to the complex crisis scenarios and social, economic and cultural transformations of our time; Problems and Methods of Legal Innovation to understand the function of law and the phenomenology of legal change in the present time, with particular reference to the dynamics of law production, the regimes of interaction between different levels of normativity, and the relationships between the legal and social dimensions. The research topics - in order to understand the multiple places of occurrence and the historical parabola in which the issues under investigation take place - will be approached keeping in mind different spatial scales (state and comparative, European and international) and different temporal planes.

Candidates whose degree was obtained abroad must produce copies of Bachelor's degree and Master's degree diplomas, and copies of certifications of examinationstaken, with the translationsin Italian or English,
for each of the above degrees.
All candidates will be provisionally admitted to the selection process and will be excluded from the doctorate if, upon verification, it turns out that their qualifications do not meet the requirements for admission to third-level courses.
