Course contents

Il Master in Architettura e Salute opera nel campo dell'architettura per la salute fisica e mentale delle persone - anche in relazione alla cura della città - con l'obiettivo di specializzare architetti e ingegneri nella progettazione, realizzazione e gestione di diverse tipologie di edifici socio-sanitari, centri di assistenza e supporto comunitario e spazi terapeutici urbani.
Il percorso formativo è caratterizzato da un'offerta didattica interdisciplinare. Grazie all'alto profilo del corpo docente, sia interno che esterno allo Iuav, oltre a progettazione architettonica e urbana, tecnologia dell'architettura, fisica tecnico-ambientale, il Master in Architettura e Salute affronterà tematiche legate alla psicologia e alla percezione visiva, alla gestione dell’ambiente costruito, sostenibilità degli edifici a zero emissioni. Il programma formativo prevede inoltre incontri con medici e personale specializzato, visite ad ospedali e strutture socio-sanitarie pubbliche e private, analisi di casi studio che includono edifici sostenibili nel settore sanitario.
Inoltre, il master si pone degli obiettivi legati all’Agenda 2030 come: salute e benessere per tutti, acqua pulita e servizi igienico-sanitari per tutti, città e comunità sostenibili e il contrasto al cambiamento climatico.

Obiettivo del corso è quello di specializzare architetti e ingegneri nella progettazione di diverse tipologie di strutture socio-sanitarie, portandoli a diventare project manager, manager nella loro gestione e progettisti di sistemi di benessere urbano. Inoltre, il corso si propone di preparare professionisti che vogliano approfondire la conoscenza della gestione sana e sostenibile del territorio e delle sue potenzialità terapeutiche.
Gli sbocchi occupazionali previsti sono quelli in aziende sociosanitarie pubbliche, strutture sanitarie private e studi professionali che operano nel settore la cui progettazione è resa sempre più complessa dai cambiamenti climatici, dall’aumento del tasso di malattie croniche non trasmissibili e modifiche degli assetti organizzativi e gestionali che riguardano la sanità pubblica.
