Course contents

The aim of the course is to promote advanced training in the disciplines of civil engineering for conducting research at public and private entities. The student acquires the analysis tools in the chosen area of research, theoretical and scientific aspects of confronts discipline for an understanding of the State of the art and best professional practices in order to contribute to the advancement of scientific research. It therefore aims at training highly specialized technical-scientific figures, with deeper capabilities and critical capacity, also able to promote innovative initiatives within the sectors included in the PhD program. Job opportunities are highly qualified figures to be used in the context of public buildings, private companies or research organizations (national and international), as well as in the formation of new professors in the teachings of civil engineering.
