Course contents

The main aim of the Course is to provide knowledge about music and brain and their implications involving music and emotion in healthy people and in neurologically disabled subjects.The aim is to propose the use of musical and musictherapeutic techniques in a neurological context for a better quality of life. This knowledge will be completed with basic notions of neurology: neuroanatomy, clinical field and neuroscience.

Moreover, the course aims at improving the skills (in addition to pre-existing rehabilitative and/or musical and/or music therapeutic training) regarding the sonorous-musical element in therapeutic interventions of adapted motor activities and rehabilitations in the neurological field.

The course is open to everyone who has a high school qualification (or equivalent EQF IV level qualification). It is also open to everyone who has a foreign qualification. The latter has to be translated, legalized and completed with a declaration of value.

Employment opportunities

The working possibilities allow people to introduce music and music-therapeutic activities in the rehabilitative and neurological units and in adapted motor activities with the aim to implement neurocognitive, neuromotor and psycological-relational recovery.
