Educare alla scienza nel contesto della contemporanea “società della conoscenza” è un obiettivo al tempo stesso di comprensione competente e di responsabilità critica. E si tratta di un obiettivo che riguarda sia i produttori di tale conoscenza (gli scienziati) che gli utenti della medesima (diversi soggetti istituzionali, compresi i comuni cittadini).

Un apporto cruciale a tale educazione può venire da un certo modo di concepire la filosofia e la storia della scienza e della tecnologia – ovvero perseguendole non come discipline fini a se stesse, o isolate nei loro astrattismi di studio, ma come discipline applicate che si fanno carico in modo condiviso e dialogante fra loro dei problemi della contemporaneità, comprendendone le radici storiche e culturali, analizzandone gli aspetti teorici, etici e metodologici, e ponendosi domande sulla loro possibile soluzione a partire da diversi angoli di expertise.

Si rivolge sia a studenti delle facoltà umanistiche, sia a studenti delle facoltà scientifiche, economiche, mediche, manageriali, ecc., sia a coloro già impegnati in percorsi lavorativi che richiedono un dialogo interattivo e innovativo fra quelle che tradizionalmente sono chiamate le “due culture”.

  • For the provision of the service specified above, the data you provided may be transmitted to other parties (e.g. CINECA) appointed to provide technological support, as data processors. Rights of data subjects:

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
  • Pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the control authority of the EU Member State in which you usually reside, work or the place where the alleged violation occurred;
