Course contents

The Scuola di Specializzazione Iuav in Beni Architettonici e del Paesaggio (SSIBAP) is a Iuav Specialisation School in Architectural and Landscape Heritage, a two-year postgraduate programme.
Its goal is to form highly qualified specialists in the field of restoration, protection, and knowledge of architectural heritage and landscape. These specialists will be able to draw projects and direct the execution of complex commissions, and they will have a thorough methodological, theoretical, and scientific preparation.
During the study period, students must obtain 120 university credits (CFUs). At the end of the programme, the Specialisation School will issue a Specialist Diploma.

Possono presentare domanda di ammissione:
- i laureati dei corsi di studio della classe 4/S “Architettura e Ingegneria Edile” o della classe LM-4 “Architettura e ingegneria Edile-Architettura”;
- i laureati dei corsi di studio delle classi 2/S e LM-2 “Archeologia”, 10/S e LM-10 “Conservazione dei Beni architettonici e ambientali”, 12/S “Conservazione e restauro del patrimonio storico artistico” e LM-11 “Conservazione e restauro dei beni culturali”, 95/S e LM-89 “Storia dell’Arte”, previa valutazione del curriculum studiorum da parte della commissione giudicatrice di cui al successive articolo 4;
- i laureati in possesso di una laurea conseguita secondo l’ordinamento antecedente al D.M. 509/99 equiparati ope legis a quelli del nuovo ordinamento indicati come requisito per l’accesso;
- i candidati in possesso di un titolo accademico conseguito all'estero e ritenuto idoneo da parte della commissione giudicatrice.

Obiettivo della Scuola consiste nel formare specialisti di elevata qualificazione professionale nel campo del restauro, della tutela e della conoscenza del patrimonio architettonico e del paesaggio; specialisti in grado di redigere progetti e dirigere la realizzazione di opere di elevata complessità, forti di una solida preparazione teorica, metodologica e scientifica.
Lo specializzato conseguirà gli strumenti teorici e pratici per un dominio consapevole del progetto di conservazione, restauro e riutilizzo delle emergenze monumentali, dell’edilizia diffusa, del paesaggio, necessari per affrontare in modo coerente i problemi che il patrimonio costruito pone nel momento in cui nuove esigenze funzionali e d’uso richiedono adattamenti e trasformazioni, in termini di consolidamento o rafforzamento, modifiche planimetriche e spaziali, adeguamento impiantistico, progettazione di nuove strutture o manufatti.

Rights of data subjects:

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
