Course contents

The character of the doctorate will be multidisciplinary in economics, business and mathematics-statistics applied to economics, trying to grasp the advantages and challenges that this entails. The main (but not necessarily exclusive) thematic addresses of the PhD program will be: innovation and sustainability; institutions, markets and economic development; decision analysis, decision theory and data science.
In order to stimulate and enhance the multidisciplinary approach to scientific research, the specialized courses provided may have an expressly interdisciplinary nature, including the profiles of the legal regulation and the regulatory foundations of the institutions; will refer, by way of example (but not exclusively), to the following topics:
Technological innovation,
Sustainability,
Institutions and political economics,
Market competition and regulation,
Healthcare markets,
Cultural goods and tourism,
Data science,
Decision theory and decision analysis,
Big data analysis,
Artificial intelligence.
