Course contents

The aim of this PhD program is to provide students with a solid scientific knowledge base, capacity autonomous design and execution of research and possible technological applications. Students will gain an interdisciplinary education in the field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology through additional teaching than that provided by the Master of Science disciplinary source (Chemistry, Physics and Engineering) and especially through the training of the research activity on issues Vanguard within groups with qualified scientific expertise internationally recognized. Nanotechnologies require greater attention to the problems of interdisciplinary training. The PhD student will be initiated in the study of fundamental phenomena that are relevant to the nanoscale, the manufacturing techniques and analysis of nanostructures, and the advanced applications of nanotechnology in order to acquire the knowledge necessary to cross interact operatively with the skills of the different disciplines.
