Il corso fornisce al personale che desideri inserirsi in programmi di cooperazione sanitaria conoscenze specifiche sull'utilizzo in loco dell'ecografia come strumento diagnostico e terapeutico. Inoltre, la frequenza può essere utile per il personale sanitario che lavora nei paesi industrializzati a contatto con gli immigrati, dove le malattie infettive emergenti e ri-emergenti sono oggi di frequente riscontro e spesso non sufficientemente conosciute.
