The Second-Cycle Degree Course in Reproductive Biotechnologies, completely in English, is an Interuniversity Degree Programme between the University of Teramo and the University of Chieti-Pescara. This Course provides the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to understand and perform novel techniquesin the areas of reproductive biology and biomedical research. The ultimate aim of the Course is to train experts able to manage laboratories of medically-assisted reproduction both referring to humans and animals.
The academic staff of the University of Teramo have been involved since many years in basic and applied research related to the biology of gametes and experimental embryology, having established a wide collaborative network with national and international investigators. The academic staff of the University of Chieti-Pescara are considered valuable researchers in the field of human infertility and related genetic pathologies. This Course takes also advantages of external specialists, who actively work in the field of human reproduction in both public and private companies. Students are strongly recommended to carry out specific curricular internships or training internships in the several certified national and international Centres/Companies, which the University has agreed upon.
Such course aims at providing detailed and up-to-date lessons, also through individual laboratory practice, on the structure and function of gametes, on the biological and molecular mechanisms that control the interactions between sperms and oocytes, the fertilization process and the embryonic development. The students will acquire the most recent techniques to isolate, manipulate, and cryoconserve both animal gametes and embryos, as well as the techniques for their biochemical, genetic, morphological and functional characterization in the field of reproductive medicine.
This Course is mainly student-oriented, providing a system of tailored tutorship, with periodically-administered check-in interim tests in all course unitsand a beneficial use of the e-learning platform and the “Agreement with our students” system.
Classes in English will promote opportunities of international mobility of incoming and outgoing students among European validated research Institutes, through both Erasmus programmes and bilateral agreements with foreign Universities. The international nature of this Course will also facilitate working experiences abroad, that will be truly appreciated in the current worldwide professional field.

This Degree Course will be entirely delivered in English.
The enrolment in a Degree Course delivered in English allows to benefit from a 50% refund (except for compulsory fees) of university fees, if a student obtains a language certification equal to or higher than B2 over the regular length of the Degree Course. Students can benefit from 100% refund (except for compulsory fees) if they spend one term in a university abroad.

Gli studenti che intendono iscriversi al Corso di Studio Magistrale in Diritto, Economia e strategia d’impresa devono essere in possesso della Laurea o del diploma universitario di durata triennale nelle classi L-14, L-18 o L-33, o di altro titolo equipollente conseguito all’estero, riconosciuto idoneo in base alla normativa vigente. Possono iscriversi anche gli studenti in possesso di una Laurea magistrale a ciclo unico in Giurisprudenza o di altra Laurea magistrale (i quali beneficeranno di una riduzione di carriera) e gli studenti in possesso di un titolo di laurea triennale in altre classi, purché in possesso dei requisiti curriculari di seguito specificati.

Per perfezionare l’iscrizione, gli studenti devono inoltre possedere un’adeguata preparazione personale, oggetto di verifica secondo le modalità indicate di seguito.

Il Corso di Studio Magistrale in Diritto, Economia e strategia d’impresa è ad accesso non programmato. All’atto dell’iscrizione lo studente deve indicare la classe di laurea in cui desidera conseguire il titolo. L’indicazione del curriculum deve essere fornita, al più tardi, contestualmente all’iscrizione al secondo anno di corso.

Si precisa che il percorso di studi è abilitante alle professioni economico-contabili solo per gli studenti che scelgono di laurearsi nella classe L-77. Si consiglia, inoltre, la scelta del curriculum “Innovazione” a quegli studenti interessati ad usufruire delle agevolazioni offerte dal CdS relativamente all’esame di abilitazione alla professione di dottore commercialista (vedi la sezione FAQ).

Requisiti curriculari per i candidati in possesso di titolo di studio conseguito in Italia.

Per i candidati in possesso di un titolo di laurea in italiano i requisiti curriculari sono soddisfatti possedendo una laurea triennale in una delle seguenti classi del DM n. 270/2004 (o corrispondenti nell'ex DM n. 509/1999):
L- 14 Scienze dei servizi giuridici;
L- 18 Scienze dell'economia e della gestione aziendale;
L- 33 Scienze economiche.
I requisiti curriculari si ritengono altresì automaticamente soddisfatti per gli studenti che abbiano conseguito il titolo di laurea magistrale a ciclo unico in Giurisprudenza.

Per gli studenti provenienti da classi di laurea triennali diverse da quelle sopraelencate, i requisiti curriculari minimi consistono nell'aver conseguito i seguenti CFU:
almeno 24 CFU nei settori: IUS/01, IUS/02, IUS/04, IUS/06, IUS/07, IUS/08, IUS/09, IUS/10, IUS/12, IUS/13, IUS/14, IUS/17, IUS/20;
almeno 24 CFU nei settori: SECS-P/01, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/03; SECS-P/04; SECS-P/06; SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SECS-P/09, SECS-P/10, SECS-P/11.
I candidati che non possiedono i requisiti curriculari minimi sopra specificati necessitano, ai fini dell’immatricolazione, di colmare le eventuali lacune sostenendo esami singoli nelle aree deficitarie sino al completamento dei CFU mancanti. Non è possibile perfezionare l’iscrizione con debiti formativi non colmati.

Il Preside della Facoltà di Giurisprudenza, su proposta del Consiglio di Corso di Studi, nomina annualmente una Commissione Valutatrice composta da n. 3 docenti tra quelli di riferimento e quelli che detengono insegnamenti (anche a contratto) afferenti al CdS. La Commissione Valutatrice si occuperà di esaminare periodicamente i curricula dei candidati per accertare il possesso dei requisiti curriculari minimi e deliberare l’ammissione al colloquio teso a valutare la personale preparazione.

Requisiti di ammissione per i candidati in possesso di titolo di studio conseguito in un ateneo straniero
I candidati italiani o stranieri in possesso di un titolo di studi conseguito all’estero che desiderano iscriversi al corso di laurea magistrale in Diritto, Economia e Strategia di Impresa devono presentare istanza di valutazione della carriera pregressa all’attenzione del Coordinatore del CdS, a mezzo di raccomandata A/R o posta elettronica certificata indirizzata alla Segreteria Studenti di Ateneo.
La suddetta istanza deve essere corredata di: curriculum vitae del candidato, lettera motivazionale, titolo di studio conseguito all’estero corredato da relativa “Dichiarazione di Valore” rilasciata dalle rappresentanze diplomatiche italiane competenti per territorio, piano di studi relativo al titolo conseguito corredato dei singoli esami sostenuti e la relativa votazione conseguita.

Verifica dell'adeguata preparazione
La valutazione della personale preparazione del candidato in possesso dei necessari requisiti curriculari avviene a mezzo di colloquio orale. I candidati verranno esaminati singolarmente dalla Commissione Valutatrice di cui al comma 3 del presente articolo ed il colloquio è volto ad esaminare le competenze del candidato sui seguenti argomenti:
diritto delle obbligazioni e dei contratti;
diritto dell’impresa e delle società;
microeconomia e macroeconomia;
economia aziendale.
