Course contents

The PhD programme Human sciences and Welfare innovation fosters interdisciplinary research projects within human and social sciences, promoting and enhancing various methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, mixed, experimental or based on people commitment). This PhD programme provides researchers necessary skills to deal with the complex challenges of our transitional times, identifying its cultural and scientific basis and encouraging the diversity of perspectives. Doctoral courses aim to:
- train future researchers with a rich and multidisciplinary background and a solid methodological preparation, which let them to follow academic professional paths in the fields of pedagogy, psychology and social sciences;
- help PhD candidates to develop scientific and social skills needed to apply for a position at University, in a private or public research institutions as well;
- stimulate a cooperative practice of entrepreneurship in order to create new services in the health, education and welfare sectors.

The PhD Degree provides the necessary skills to:
- taking part in world-class quality research within private and public institutions, both national and international;
- enter a managerial career in public and private institutions dealing in human capital formation and person services with reference to pedagogical, didactics, clinic, social and social rights skills;
- perform activities of planning, design, management; supervision activities concerning education, training, welfare, social and health services in both private and public contests; test and evaluate quality relating to services provided by companies.
