Il Dottorato di Ricerca in Informatica e Matematica mira a formare ricercatori e figure professionali, in grado di produrre, in modo indipendente, contributi significativi sia all'avanzamento della conoscenza che allo sviluppo di applicazioni e tecnologie innovative.
Gli ambiti di ricerca identificati si riferiscono a: Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems, Computing and Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Machine Learning, Distributed and Embedded Systems, Process Management, Software and Information System Engineering.
Il dottore di ricerca sarà capace di identificare e comprendere le problematiche relative alla ricerca negli ambiti di riferimento, e di definire piani di indagine e sviluppo al fine di poter produrre contributi apprezzabili alla soluzione dei problemi identificati.
