Course contents

The postgraduate degree (corso di laurea magistrale) , entirely taught in English, aims at prodiving students with a considerable flexibility in problem solving, a likely feature of their future employment experience. Post-graduate students will be able to properly employ those analytical tools acquires when attending courses in politics, economics, sociology, history, law and foreign languages. International Relations offers the benefit of small classes and of a fresh and interactive environment. Courses are taught with a special attention to the current development and phenomena in each field, and students are always encouraged to nurture their own critical approach and supported to express their skills and follow their inclinations.
The inter-disciplinary features, as well as the traditionally international enrollment of this course are meant to guarantee an enhanced employability of the successful students so improving their chance on the labour market be it in Italy or abroad. Students have come so far from 40 different countries. The international nature of our classes is the privileged content where to learn the essential qualities for a good, dialogical and responsible leadership.
For students particularly inclined to building up their expertise through international training and experience, IR makes available the opportunity to spend a year abroad enrolling in our Double Degree Programmes with:
- the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, for the next generation of specialists in public and business administration;
- the National University “Taras Shevchenko” in Kiev, for a global perspective in business administration. A double degree for a world-connected leadership inside national and international agencies, domestic and supranational institutions, governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Moreover, all applicants aiming to enrol the IR master’s degree program have to demonstrate their knowledge of English language (B2 level of the CEFR): - by international language certificate - B2 level of the CEFR (Cambridge B2, TOEFL 87, IELTS 6.5, BULATS 75, Unicert level II, CLES 2, CET4 and so on), or - being English native speakers, or - being graduated in Bachelor’s degrees whose courses are taught in English, submitting the institutions' confirmations (es. Proficiency letter).

Rights of data subjects:

  • You can exercise the rights granted to you by current legislation on the protection of personal data, including the right to ask the data controller to access your personal data and to correct or erase them, restrict or object to processing of your data, in addition to the right of data portability within the limits of the provisions of art. 15-21 of Regulation the 2016/679;
  • Pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your data violates the legislation on the protection of personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the control authority of the EU Member State in which you usually reside, work or the place where the alleged violation occurred;
