Course contents

This PhD program aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological knowledge to carry out research in various fields of medical sciences, in order to train them for future career as academicians or researchers in public or private institutions. The PhD student will be trained: 1. to perform compete bibliographic searches in the international scientific literature with all presently available tools; 2. to select and use appropriate lab instrumentation and equipment to carry out in vitro an in vivo research; 3. to interpret primary and secondary data after statitstical analysis; 4. To write scientific reports, abstracts and papers based on research results; 5. To set up and deliver public presentations of his/her research with the help of digital tools. The PhD student will also be encouraged to collaborate with colleagues in the same or other scientific fields working both in Italy and abroad. Finally, the PhD student will also be motivated to refine his/her training also in other research institutions, both in Italy and abroad.
