Il Master Universitario di II livello denominato “MASTER IN ADVANCED ANALYTICS FOR
INSURTECH” si pone l’obiettivo di formare figure professionali in grado di utilizzare
metodologie e tecniche avanzate per la raccolta, la gestione, l'elaborazione e l'analisi dei
data, e la conseguente traduzione in informazioni utili a supportare i processi decisionali
in ambito assicurativo. Il progetto formativo prevede l’apprendimento delle metodologie,
delle tecnologie e degli strumenti utili:
(i) allo sviluppo di software per la costruzione di pipeline analitiche,
(ii) alla gestione e integrazione di fonti dati complesse in ambiente cloud,
(iii) all’analisi e caratterizzazione statistica di dati storici,
(iv) alla costruzione di modelli analitici avanzati,
(v) alla gestione del rischio e dell’innovazione,
(vi) alla loro applicazione in ambito assicurativo.
L'avvento del cloud computing rende relativamente facile per le imprese assicuratrici
aggregare e memorizzare fonti molteplici ed eterogenee. Tali fonti possono fornire agli
assicuratori molto di più di quanto offerto dai dati storici dei sistemi di amministrazione
delle polizze, le richieste di indennizzo, i sistemi di fatturazione e i rapporti sulla mortalità
di un tempo. Attraverso un'analisi puntuale dei big data, le imprese assicuratrici hanno
ora la possibilità di migliorare l'accuratezza dei prezzi, creare prodotti e servizi
personalizzati, stringere relazioni più forti con i clienti e facilitare una prevenzione delle
perdite più efficace. I data scientist assicurativi devono poter combinare modelli analitici,
quali ad esempio modelli comportamentali basati sui dati del profilo del cliente, con un
flusso continuo di dati quali, ad esempio, dati satellitari, rapporti meteorologici, sensori di
veicoli, al fine di creare valutazioni dettagliate e personalizzate del rischio. Le figure
professionali in uscita saranno dunque in grado di affrontare tematiche di rilievo in
ambito assicurativo e più in generale nel settore finanziario. In breve, il master intende
preparare professionisti che siano in grado di:
1. possedere conoscenze di tecniche statistiche, di informatica e di algoritmi per la
gestione qualitativa e quantitativa di dati di grandi od enormi dimensioni;
2. conoscere gli strumenti per abilitare e accelerare l'innovazione tecnologica nel
supporto alle decisioni in presenza di grandi quantità di dati;
3. padroneggiare metodi e tecniche, anche comunicative, utilizzabili in gruppi
interdisciplinari in cui operino insieme esperti in Data Science ed esperti del
Business assicurativo e finanziario;
4. possedere competenze nei processi decisionali e di innovazione negli ambiti di
interesse del master.
