Graduates' employment conditions
You can select the survey year and all the related data according to kind of degree and number of years on from graduation. The availability of the data according to kind of degree and number of years on from graduation may vary according to the different survey years.
Selection of cohort
You can restrict the analysis to particular cohorts on the basis of variables such as university, degree subject grouping and - when active - faculty/department/school, class of degree and degree course.
After having selected the cohort to be analysed, you can divide it according to a further variable that you can choose among those listed in the pop-down menu (e.g., gender, employment conditions at graduation). In this way you will obtain a direct comparison.
Kind of degree course
The choice of the kind of degree course determines the presence of other selection and comparison variables (e.g., the variable "class of degree" is available only for post-reform degree courses). From the 2009 survey, the pre-reform degree course in Primary Schooling Sciences, which has not been reformed, is also available; pre-reform is available until the 2011 survey. If you want to make a comparison based on the kind of degree, you have to select the option "all" in "Kind of degree course ". In this case the variables of the section "comparison columns" will not be active, since this choice itself already determines the kind of comparison to be made. For the first-level graduates at three and five years on from graduation, data is not available (for details, see methodological notes).
Years since graduation
The available data vary according to the survey year. You can make a comparison based on the number of years on from graduation, by selecting the option "all" in "number of years on from graduation". In this case the variables of the section "comparison columns" will not be active, since it is the initial choice to determine the kind of comparison to be made.
The information is available only after having selected a University. In brackets, after the name of the structure, "Fac." stays for Faculties, "Dip." for Departments and "Scuola" for Schools.
Degree Subject Grouping
From the 2014 survey, degree classes in geography (L-6, 30) and in geographical sciences (LM-80, 21/S) are included in the disciplinary group "literary" and no longer in the "geo-biological" one.
Class of degree
The information on the class of degree is available only for post-reform graduates. The code associated by the MIUR to the class of degree is reported with brackets (since 2010 Survey the code from M.D. 270/04 and the code from M.D. 509/99 are reported).
For the post-reform graduates, this variable associates a univocal code to each degree course activated in a given university (i.e., the code of the database of training supply). Therefore, it can be selected only after choosing the university and at least one variable among the following ones: Faculty/Department/School, degree subject grouping or class of degree. The variable does not allow the comparison of universities. The code associated by the MIUR to the class of degree is indicated with brackets.
Pure/hybrid (available until the 2011 survey)
The so-called "pure" are post-reform graduates who completed their course of study entirely and exclusively under the new system. The "hybrid" are those who began their studies under the former university system and completed it by achieving a post-reform first-level degree. This variable is available only until the 2011 Survey.
